Spicy Indian Cuisine
Indian cuisine is characterized by the use of various spices,
herbs and other vegetables, and sometimes fruits grown in India and also
for the widespread practice of vegetarianism in Indian society. Each
family of Indian cuisine includes a wide assortment of dishes and
cooking techniques. As a consequence, it varies from region to region,
reflecting the varied demographics of the ethnically-diverse Indian
subcontinent.
Aam Ka Panna (Spiced Green Mango Juice)
Indian Summer drink "Aam Panna" is
made with Green Mango with added spices. It has a beautiful balance of
sweet and sour flavors.
Tomato Raita
Simple recipe for Raita made with Tomatoes. This yogurt sauce is enjoyed with spicy pilafs/rice dishes in India.
15 Bean and Brown Rice Adai
Protein rich & nutritious
wholegrain South Indian crepes are filling & hearty. Paired with
Coconut stew, these make for excellent breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Cheese & Green Garlic Paratha
Paneer and fresh Mozzarella Cheese
combine to make these uber delicious Indian flatbreads. Green Garlic
gives it a light garlicky flavor.
Seppankilangu Varuval (Colocasia/Taro Root Roast)

festive/special occasions.

Gobhi gets stuffed into a flatbread where I use purple cauliflower and
purple potatoes instead of regular colors.
